Mood: fucking hell.

Kay, I put my stuff back up on SA. Don't know how long it's gonna stay up there. But the comments thread that I posted in about "Leet Technologies" means I got flamed for it. [since I said Leet Tech was, in polite words, a stupid name. And I stand by it.]

It's been dead for a week, then some asshole decides to come and make another frigging comment, in response to me asking someone, politely, not to use caps when they post their shit flaming me. [and I'm talking seven or eight solid lines of caps here].

He replies (some random new fucktard, never even spoken to him before) saying that if it annoys me, he sees it as a GOOD REASON TO USE ALL CAPS.

Fucking hell, I wish some people would either get over themselves and whatever issues they have with people voicing their opinions or standing up for themselves, or if that's not possible, then just shut the fuck up and keep their goddamned bullshit to themselves.

Sorry about the language. People who just JOIN IN arguements ages after they're dead piss me off SO MUCH. I hadn't even said anything to the fucker. Wtf.

I wanted to say:

SHUT THE HELL UP YOU FUCKING RETARD, AND LET IT DIE.

What I did actually say was far more polite and only contained the word "Crap". I don't care if he reads this. I am so sick of people getting involved in shit that doesn't involve them and expecting me to just accept it. I'm just like... 'Fuck you'. and they don't expect it so they get all pissy. I've let people walk all over me up until recently. And now I'm not having any more of it. You piss me off, you will FUCKING KNOW ABOUT IT.

'Can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen' is the old addage. I want to add to that: 'Don't stick your dirty little fingers in someone else's cooking" too.

If it's not your arguement, stay the hell out of it.

Okay. You know what I am sick of? as the title says, people treating this damn place like it's a popularity contest.

More pageviews does not make you a better artist. It might do. In the case of a few of my friends, they DESERVE their pageview totals. They're awesome artists. And then there are the people who just leave comments like:

"OMG I LOVE YOUR ART. Now check out my gallery [link]!!!!!"

If I want to see your gallery, I will click your name or something else that links me to your page. do not try and direct my attention. My page is for comments about ME not YOU. Same goes for other artists' galleries. If you're just going to whore yourself by going OMG LOOK AT MY GALLERY on everyone's page then eventually you're going to make a lot of people very very miffed at you.

Worse still are the people who, after having NO contact with me EVER send me a note or make a comment on my page or on a piece of my art that says:

"Hey I love this pic. I did something like this that I think you might like [link]!!"

Again, no. You do not use someone else's page to whore your work. By all means say you like the style of the picture and you do stuff like it yourself or would like to do stuff like it yourself. But including a link and going "GO AND SEE" just cheapens it all. I don't mind my FRIENDS doing it. I like my good friends to let me know about stuff that I might have missed, or something that I might like, whether it be theirs or someone else's.

If this is you, then please stop it. I don't mind people commenting on my gallery or on specific pics to tell me they like them, or to tell me they DON'T like them (as long as it's a proper critique and not just "OMG u suck").

Also, thanking people for visiting your page? wtf is up with that? you monitor your recent page viewers then go and post on their pages to get more exposure to other people. That's what's up.

And all of this leads to the GOOD artists being ignored and some rather mediocre ones getting above their station and thinking they are God's Gift to DA just because they've whored themselves and have tons of pageviews and asskissing comments.

I don't care how popular i am or how many pageviews I have. I do art because I enjoy doing it. That's the only reason anybody should do it, IMO.

It's not a popularity contest. Get over yourselves and just do your art because you like it, damnit.

Mood: SOVERYBUSY.

Apologies to all my watchers and friendy-type-ppls (except one or two people... Gnnf... ) for doing absolutely crap all for a while.

Not only am I doing my final projects for my graphics degree, I'm also doing work experience at a primary school ready for my new course next year and I've had some horrid back problems too. I injured it on Sunday and I haven't been able to straighten up properly since. Sigh.

Anyway enough of that bitching.

I'll do more stuff soon, I have several pieces in the works.
